Privacy Policy

osu!Reviews is a community project for public profile and replay reviews. This page explains what data we process, why we process it, and how users can contact us about privacy questions or removal requests.

What we collect

We may process account and profile data received through osu! authentication or public osu! API sync, including your osu! username, osu! ID, avatar, public ranking-related profile fields, and timestamps related to profile syncing.

We also process content and activity created on osu!Reviews itself, such as reviews, comments, queue requests, gaming setup information, Twitch username fields you choose to publish, moderation logs, and basic anti-abuse metadata such as IP-based rate-limit signals and security logs.

Why we process data

We process data to operate the service, authenticate users, sync public osu! profile information, display public profiles and reviews, prevent abuse, enforce moderation rules, and keep the site secure.

We do not treat client-submitted identity claims as authoritative when ownership matters. Account ownership, sensitive mutations, and profile sync actions are verified on the server side.

Public content and visibility

Profiles, reviews, comments, queue participation, and some optional profile fields may be visible to other users or the public internet. Do not submit information that you do not want to appear publicly on the site.

If you request deletion of content or your account data, some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, audit, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Infrastructure and third parties

osu!Reviews uses third-party infrastructure and integrations to operate, including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for data storage and backend services, and osu! OAuth or osu! API services for authentication and profile sync.

These providers may process technical data necessary to deliver the service, such as request metadata, session information, and infrastructure logs, according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Cookies, sessions, and analytics

The site uses essential session and authentication mechanisms required for login, account continuity, security, and abuse prevention. These are necessary for the service to function.

If privacy-friendly analytics or performance monitoring are enabled, they are used to understand site reliability and usage at an aggregate level. If non-essential tracking is introduced later, this policy should be updated before deployment.

Your choices and contact

You may contact the project owner to ask privacy questions, request removal of published content, or report inaccurate personal data visible on the site. Privacy and security requests can be sent to adminosureviews@gmail.com.

This policy may change as the project evolves. Continued use of osu!Reviews after changes means the updated policy applies from the date it is published.
